Up Events LLC, doing business as It's A Party Miami ("IAP," "we," "us"), rents event equipment across South Florida. This policy explains what customer information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers itsapartymiami.com and the quotes, reservations, deliveries and retrievals we handle by phone, text and email. Our Rental Policies and the signed Equipment Rental Agreement govern the rental itself.
Information We Collect
We collect information directly from you — when you request a quote, place an order by phone, sign a rental agreement, or submit a form on this website. That includes:
- Contact information — name, mobile and landline phone numbers, email address, and the company or organization you are booking for.
- Event and delivery information — delivery and retrieval addresses, venue access notes, event dates and times, and the items reserved.
- Order and account records — quotes, rental agreements, invoices, deposits, balances, delivery confirmations and inspection notes.
- Payment information — card payments are handled by secure third-party payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
- Website information — what you submit through our quote and order request forms, and basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited.
How We Use Your Information
We use customer information solely to run the rental: to prepare and send quotes, confirm reservations, schedule and complete deliveries and retrievals, communicate with you about your order, process payments and collections, resolve damage or shortage claims, and keep the records our business, our accountants and our insurers require.
Text Messaging (SMS)
What we send. With your consent, we send text messages tied to an existing or requested rental — delivery window confirmations, driver arrival notices, retrieval reminders, follow-ups on a quote you asked for, and answers to questions you text us. Message frequency varies with your order activity.
How consent is obtained. You provide consent by signing our Equipment Rental Agreement, which includes a communications and SMS consent section, or by submitting your mobile number on a form on this website where that consent is disclosed. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of renting from us.
Opting out. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (305) 263-1386. Opting out of text messages does not release you from the obligations of a signed rental agreement — we will reach you by phone or email instead.
Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with the messaging service providers that transmit messages on our behalf.
How We Share Information
We do not sell customer information. We share it only as needed to complete your rental:
- Service providers — payment processors, our rental management and communications platforms, and our delivery crew, each limited to what they need to do their work for us.
- Venues — where a venue requires delivery details in order to grant our crew access for your event.
- Legal requirements — where required by law or subpoena, or to establish or defend a legal claim, including collection of an unpaid balance or damage to rented equipment.
Data Retention
We keep order records, signed agreements and payment records for as long as needed to service the account and to meet tax, accounting, insurance and legal requirements. Contact records are kept while your account remains active with us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect customer information and limit access to the staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Choices
- Ask us what information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us to delete information we are not required to keep for legal, tax or accounting reasons.

Children
Our services are directed to adults arranging events. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised, and the current version is always posted at this address.
